TESS Global’s Drone Security Division represents the next evolution in our commitment to comprehensive protection. By integrating unmanned aerial systems into our established security operations, we extend our capabilities beyond what ground-based teams alone can achieve — delivering elevated situational awareness, faster incident response, and coverage of terrain that would otherwise require significantly more personnel and time.

Our drone operations are designed to complement, not replace, the experienced security officers TESS has deployed across Central Florida since 2014. When aerial reconnaissance works in concert with boots on the ground, the result is a layered security posture that is substantially more difficult for threats to evade.

Aerial Surveillance & Patrol

Routine patrols are the backbone of any effective security program. TESS drone patrols add a vertical dimension to that coverage. Our operators conduct scheduled flyovers of properties, campuses, and perimeters using high-definition and thermal imaging systems capable of operating in daylight and low-light conditions.

Thermal imaging is particularly effective for detecting unauthorized individuals in large or unlit areas — construction yards after hours, wooded perimeters, or rooftops. Drone patrols can cover ground faster and more quietly than vehicle patrols, and they provide recorded footage that serves as both a deterrent and an evidentiary resource.

Event Monitoring

Large gatherings present unique security challenges. Crowd density shifts, blocked exits, and perimeter breaches are difficult to identify from ground level. TESS drone operators provide event security teams with a real-time overhead perspective, enabling faster identification of developing situations before they escalate.

Our event monitoring services include pre-event aerial site surveys, live crowd density assessment during the event, perimeter surveillance, and post-event documentation. This capability integrates directly with our existing event security teams, giving ground commanders actionable intelligence they cannot obtain from fixed cameras or foot patrols alone.

Property & Site Inspection

Not every security concern is an active threat. TESS provides aerial inspection services for property managers, construction firms, and facilities teams who need visual documentation from vantage points that are impractical or unsafe to reach on foot.

Applications include construction progress documentation, post-storm damage assessment for insurance and recovery planning, roof and infrastructure inspection, and pre-event venue evaluation. For our hurricane preparedness clients, aerial assessment of property conditions before and after severe weather events provides critical intelligence for rapid recovery decisions.

Rapid Aerial Response

When an alarm activates or a security incident is reported, the first minutes matter most. TESS rapid aerial response deploys a drone to the location ahead of ground personnel, providing live video feed to responding officers and the command center. Responders arrive on scene already informed — they know the nature of the situation, the number of individuals involved, and the safest approach vector.

This capability reduces response uncertainty, improves officer safety, and provides recorded evidence from the earliest moments of an incident. It is particularly effective for large properties where ground response times can be extended by distance or access constraints.

FAA Compliance & Safety

All TESS drone operations are conducted under full Federal Aviation Administration compliance. Our remote pilots hold FAA Part 107 certifications, and all aircraft are registered and maintained to manufacturer specifications. We carry appropriate insurance coverage for commercial drone operations and maintain current knowledge of airspace restrictions, including temporary flight restrictions common in our Central Florida operating area.

Safety is not negotiable. Every mission follows a standardized preflight protocol that includes weather assessment, airspace verification, equipment inspection, and crew briefing. We do not fly in conditions that compromise safety or regulatory compliance, regardless of operational pressure.

Mission Planning — Our team develops a flight plan tailored to your specific requirements, including coverage areas, imaging type, altitude parameters, and coordination with ground security personnel.

Deployment — Certified operators execute the mission according to plan, with real-time communication to your security team. All flights are logged and all footage is captured for your records.

Reporting — You receive a post-mission summary including flight data, captured imagery, and any observations or recommendations from our operators. For ongoing engagements, we track trends and adjust operations based on what we learn.
