Nic Moretto on the SWN Podcast: Episode 01
We don’t spend much time talking about ourselves. The work tends to speak — a season of overnight patrols, a four-day event where every asset is accounted for when the sun comes up, a client who renews. But once in a while someone sits our owner down in front of a microphone, and that’s a different kind of record.
On September 4, 2026, the SWN Podcast published its first episode on the Security Wealth Network channel, with host Aaron Seligson sitting down with Nic Moretto, owner of TESS Global. The episode — “SWN PODCAST - E01 | W/ NIC MORETTO” — runs about 77 minutes. You can watch it here:
In the podcast’s own words, here’s what the conversation covers:
Aaron Seligson sits down with Security Professional and Owner of TESS Global Nic Moretto. Nic Discusses How he got started in Security, experiences in EP, Event Security, Residential Security and more. He shares lessons learned along the way, and the secret sauce to keeping the lights on, in contract security.
Those topics are the lines we work every day. If you heard the episode and want to know what they look like as services rather than stories, here’s the short version:
- Executive protection — the EP work Nic discusses is the same discipline we deploy for principals across Central Florida: advance work, route planning, and officers who understand that the job is presence and judgment, not spectacle.
- Event security — the event work he speaks about is the operation behind engagements like Thunder on Cocoa Beach, where we’ve run access control and overnight asset protection for seven consecutive years.
- The company itself — the agency and the family behind it are what “keeping the lights on, in contract security” actually refers to. Contract security is a business of thin margins and hard standards, and the episode gets into what it takes to hold both.
This is the first episode of a new podcast from a network built around the security industry, and we’re glad the record of how this company runs exists in Nic’s own voice rather than a brochure’s. If you’re evaluating a security provider, an unscripted 77-minute conversation will tell you more than any proposal document — including ours.
