Do I need armed protection?

The answer follows the threat, not the title. A specific, credible threat calls for a Class G armed officer; a public role with no specific threat is often better served by a low-profile unarmed detail. We assess first and size second, and we will tell you when you do not need us.

Will it be obvious?

Only if you want it to be. Low profile is the default: plainclothes, unmarked vehicles, an officer who reads as a colleague. High visibility is available when deterrence is the point.

Do you drive?

Yes. Secure transport is part of the detail: the officer drives, on a route that was checked in advance, with the alternates already in hand.

Can this start tomorrow?
