Ground the officer cannot cover. A fence line, a lake, a preserve, a lay-down yard behind the stockpile, a roof after a storm. A crew sweeps in minutes what takes an officer an hour on foot, and thermal imaging finds a person or a running engine in the dark that a flashlight does not. The drone does not replace the officer; it extends one, and the officer is who responds to what the crew sees.
The airspace. Much of the Space Coast sits in controlled or restricted airspace: the Cape, Patrick Space Force Base, and the towered fields at Melbourne and Titusville. Where LAANC authorization applies we file for it as part of the lead time; where the airspace is closed, we say so before quoting. Under 400 feet, over the property we are engaged to protect, is the usual answer.
The statute. Florida's drone privacy statute, F.S. § 934.50, limits imaging of private property without consent. We fly over property we are engaged to protect, with the owner's authorization recorded in the flight log, and the imagery is delivered to the client it was flown for and nobody else.
The record. Every flight produces a log: pilot, aircraft, airspace authorization, times, and the mission as flown. Stills and video are timestamped and delivered as flown. A scheduled capture of a site, a roof or a perimeter on a fixed cadence is the progress record a GC, a carrier or a board can hold up against the last one.

Ask for the certificate. UAS liability is a separate policy from general liability, and a carrier or a venue is right to ask for it before the first flight.
